Skilled Nursing Care

On the beautiful Albany Golf Course on one side location provides scenic views for our residents. Opened in 1959, is located on beautifully wooded and landscaped acres, and offers each resident a serene, peaceful, small-town environment. It has come to be affectionately called MOM, is completely modern and is home to 73 individuals, all enjoying courtyard settings. Residents can and do participate in a variety of activities and family style dining while overlooking Albany’s scenic golf course and rural countryside in a secure environment.

Mother of Mercy is blessed with a caring staff that are experienced and loving.

Surgery, injury, or illness can bring your day-to-day activities to a stop. The Suites Rapid Recovery is a healthy balance of treatment protocols, therapy, and highly skilled care. The Suites strives to improve care transitions and reduce emergency department visits and re-hospitalizations, promoting better patient care and peace of mind.

Our Welcoming Community

Main Street Skilled Nursing earns its name as the hub of activity and the heart of Mother of Mercy Senior Living main campus.

Delicious and nutritious meals are served in the dinning room. Residents and families can also enjoy lunch in the Bistro.

Welcoming lounges and community spaces host events, parties, Bible studies, cards, games, crafts, and intergenerational opportunities with the school and day care center next door. Beauty and barber services are available on site. Exercise classes are ability-centered and can improve balance, mobility, and strength. Outdoors, everyone enjoys summer breezes in the gardens or on the patio.

Details Worth Noting:

  • On the ground floor of the nursing care facility is designed to accommodate the needs of those experiencing memory loss or dementia. Here, with resident safety in mind, exit doors and elevators are secured for resident safety.
  • On the second floor, residents participate in activities, events, and restorative nursing programs such as our Fit 4 Life program that focuses on balance, endurance, flexibility and strength. It is open to residents from all floors and a very popular place among our residents.
  • The third floor of the nursing care facility is geared toward those residents who will benefit from rehabilitative physical, speech, and occupational therapies.
  • While Mother of Mercy is a faith based institution built on Catholic/Christian values, we care for all without regard to one’s belief. Most residents very much appreciate our renovated chapel, which is located within the building offering services nearly every day.
  • Dining rooms and activity rooms are spacious, comfortable, and are close to the nurse’s stations.
  • Both private and semi-private rooms are available and are generouslysized and fully furnished, with picture windows providing a scenic view of the outdoors.
